camera work/movements

Camera shots and movements are one of the most crucial things for a successful music video. I am going to use Practice what you preach - Barry White to illustrate different types of shots and what they can signify.
Framing - creates voyeurism. In Barry Whites' video the female is framed within the arched pillars this perhaps portays how she is like a showpiece/trophee girl for the male.
Scopophilic camera work - The camera focuses on erogenous parts of the human body. This especially attracts the male audience and perhaps bisexual people. This is done repetitively throughout the music video.
Music videos are either performance, narrative or abstract. This video is a performance based video with the concept of 'relationships'
